Have you seen this beautiful packaging? I’m not sure I’ve ever seen any beauty product look this amazing. Christian Louboutin has outdone himself in presenting this gorgeous lipstick packaging.  They’re said to be inspired by everything  from Babylonian architecture to Art Deco to Middle Eastern antiquities. They certainly look like something Queen Nefertiti herself, would have used.  There are 3 textures: Silky Satin, Velvet Matte and Sheer Voile, and 36 colors overall.

The one downside—they’re going to retail for $90. Just when you thought you’d never pay $50 for Louboutin nail polish, they introduce the $90 lipstick. Oh Louboutin, why such a high price?!  I supposed they’re turning the notion of beauty products into something to truly covet .
