Every Girl Should Own a Pair
Hi everyone, I’m sorry I’ve been a bit MIA this week. I had an insanely busy schedule dealing with interviews and such, but I’m happy to say I am finally employed! I’m going to be working for a large branding firm in NYC, any advertising girl’s dream. Ever since I’ve graduated university I told myself that with my first paycheck (or probably 2) I am going to buy a pair of Louboutins. I’ve been eyeing this pair since I can remember and for the first time I can see that they’re within my reach. My goal was to get them when I was 21, it was a personal thing, but I’ll take them now: Hey, I’m not even 22 1/2 yet! This is so petty but my biggest decision will be where I purchase them from: Saks, Barneys. Bergdorfs, or the Louboutin store. Decisions, decisions.

NYC Night Life
A couple of weeks ago I posted about my outfit for the club that I ultimately didn’t make it to. Last night, the impossible was made possible: we made it to the club! The place was amazing, my friends and I had such a good time. The views, music, and atmosphere were priceless. As promised, I have a photo of what I wore. I finally got to put my hot pink Barbie-like blazer to use –and got a few compliments on it too!
I’m wearing an H&M blazer, Zara black cami, Zara black legging/pants, gold chains from Topshop, hot pink nail polish from Urban Outfitters, gold Marc Jacobs earrings, gold Casio watch from American Apparel, and black H&M wedges.

Ted Baker
Ted Baker is one of my favorite designers right now. I first took note of the brand 2 years ago when I saw the line in Selfridges, a department store in London. I fell in love with the ultra-feminine prints, silhouettes, and overall design. Recently Ted Baker has been given shops in Bloomingdales, in addition to having a few stores in the New York City area. They are set to open a flagship store on 5th Avenue in the Spring/Summer 2012. I wanted to share a few of my favorite pieces from the designer.
Birchbox X Gossip Girl
Although details are still on the down-low, Birchbox is teaming up with Gossip Girl to create a Blair and Serena inspired box of products. Birchbox is a monthly subscription which sends its members a cute box full of sample size beauty items. I’ll admit it, I still love and live for my Monday night Gossip Girl. Blair, Chuck, Serena, I can’t get enough. What’s better than GG inspired make-up and hair products? Nothing, in my opinion. The Gossip Girl Birchbox is to be sent out for May, so subscribe before it’s too late!
Dark Shadows Palette
Nyx cosmetics, one of my favorite brands, has come out with a Dark Shadows palette to go along with the highly anticipated Tim Burton film! I am dying to get my hands on this palette, there is so much included and it’s such a great price.
Pink and Pouty
Lately I’ve been stalking MAC counters across NYC for a new lipstick. I want something a little crazy, like a matte bubble gum pink that I can wear everyday. I just don’t know what color to chose, I’m so indecisive. I kind of want the Viva la Glam Nicki Minaj color. It’s very pink, with almost peachy undertones. I’m also considering Pink Noveau and St. Germain, although I can’t seem to find it in any store. I keep picking up a color that I think is called “Amplified” but I can’t find it on the internet anywhere. I know MAC has a line of lipsticks called Amplified, but this clearly was the color’s name. I’m probably going to have to bite the bullet and just purchase one and hope it works out.

Saturday Night Chic
Tomorrow night….is Saturday. My best friend is coming up to New York to visit me and tour NYU since she was accepted their for graduate school. We plan on hitting up one of the hottest, most coveted bar/club in the city. I wanted to post what I’m thinking of wearing. This club is for the fashion elite, who’s who, models, press, pr power players and bosses of the city, so I have to be on my A-game fashion-wise. Here’s what I got so far:
- Hot Pink H&M Blazer
- H&M floral corset top (the one pictured is from Topshop and looks similar to mine)
- Black Lace Shorts from Zara
- House of Holland suspender tights from Topshop
- Black suede-looking wedges from H&M
- Pink Noveau lipstick from MAC (contemplating buying to complete this look)
If this all works out, I’ll definitely post pictures from my night out.
