Emma Roberts at the Swarovski Crystallized Concept Store

I know what you’re thinking and I’m sorry. I post about Emma Roberts way too much. But honestly, she is one of my fashion icons and I deserve the right to use this blog as a mood board of sorts, don’t I? Anyways, Emma is wearing an amazingly holiday party dress in a vibrant copper with a velveteen collar. Of course, it’s Miu Miu. But the look can definitely be recreated.

F As In Frank

Also, as in the sickest vintage clothing from the 80s and 90s, it’ll blow your mind. If you’re an 80s kid or early 90s you will appreciate this store. I’m talking vintage Space Jam tanks, an Atlanta Braves snapback, and Coogi sweaters. If you have no idea what I just said, then stop reading now (kidding). My fashion sense is very 1980s, so when I stumbled across F As In Frank’s website, I was gushing. Fashion is supposed to be fun, so why not embrace that aspect? You don’t have to be all Balenciaga/Louis/Gucci all the time. They have a store in Vancouver and a new store in Toronto (West Queen St., to be exact). I haven’t made it over to the shop yet, since I just discovered them today, but rest assured, a trip will be made. I am obsessed with their tanks, and I must admit I really want a crazy Coogi sweater. It’ll be my personal homage to the 90s rap/hip-hop scene. Here’s their website. Check it out.

My picks:

Who wouldn’t want to rock this tank in the summer, complete with light wash cut-off jean shorts?

This Coogi sweater looks like the one Drake and Andy Samberg wore on SNL the other night.

The Muppet Collection for OPI

Just bought this lovely colour yesterday, it’s called Rainbow Connection. (cute, right?)

Here is picture of the rest of the collection and I love all the colours. There is a colour called “Wocka Wocka” and I may get it for my friend as a joke because she loves Wocka Flocka, and of course, nail polish.

American Apparel Warehouse Sale

This past weekend I ventured out to American Apparel’s Warehouse Sale in Toronto. The reason I’m just now mentioning it is because today I wore a pair of tights that I bought and I.am.in.love. They are called Art Deco Pantyhose and they come in a bunch of colours. I got the black ones, but the sale also had red. I love these tights because they are thick. They aren’t your average opaque tights from Sears or H&M. I mean these are real thick. And I don’t know about you, but nothing makes me angrier than runs, ladders, and holes in my tights the first time I wear them (true story). At the sale I also bought a pair of high waisted corduroy shorts, a black v-neck (just found 2 holes in it), another pair of opaque tights (cream), 3 pairs of bloomers (2 for my sister; white and black, 1 for me; black,) , and I think that’s all. Let’s put it this way: I put a lot of stuff back to stay on my budget.

Evan Rachel Wood- The Ides of March

I went to see The Ides of March last night because I’ve been dying to see it since TIFF and it finally came out on Oct. 7. I couldn’t help but notice that Evan Rachel Wood and I sort of look alike (only in this movie though). It’s her blonde curled hair and fair skin colour. Since I couldn’t really find a good picture of her from the movie, I found a gorgeous one of her from the movie premiere at the Venice Film Festival. In my opinion she seems to be channeling Grace Kelly with her belted shirtwaist-looking dress complete with a full skirt.
