Victoria Beckham Fall ’12

I’ve never featured anything by Victoria Beckham on the blog but that has been an oversight on my part. Her clothes are beautifully constructed and adored by many. Long and slender silhouettes elongate even the slimmest of models, much like Victoria herself. Mrs. Posh also released a picture of her new “Harper” bag yesterday, sure to be the “it” bag of this fall season.

Rest of collection is here.

OPI Holland Collection

Anyone who knows me is aware of my love for Amsterdam. I know I left my heart in Europe two years ago, but especially in Amsterdam. I could use all the beautiful adjectives in the world in attempt to describe the city, but nothing I say would do it justice. It’s somewhere that you have to discover for yourself. If you’ve been then you know what I’m talking about, and we’ll share this special moment. With that said, I walked into Ulta to see this gorgeous display:

How did I not know that OPI’s spring collection would be Holland? I am a nail polish freak and when my love for all things Holland and OPI come together…it could be disastrous…for my bank account. After much thought, I’ve come to the decision that I cannot have all of the colors and that I should choose a few, to be reasonable, of course. I’m leaning towards “A Roll in the Hague” (bottom tier, far left) because neons and specifically tangerine are the hot colors for Spring. Keep in mind this windmill display does not portray the colors very well, they all generally have a bit of sparkle in them. And just for kicks, I thought I’d include the Pantone color of the year: Tangerine Tango. I can assure you that the orange and red colors will be the first ones to go from this collection so buy them now!

Kate Spade Fall 2012 Presentation

Though I find Kate Spade to be a little conservative for my style (and by that I mean not enough black in their line), I found myself really liking their collection for Fall 2012. Known for producing bright and colorful pieces, Kate Spade drew on more than just hot pinks and oranges for their color palate. Rich emeralds, reds, and even a touch of fur balanced out the expected aquas and bright yellows, for which Kate Spade is so well known. This collection is inspired by the coveted culture of Paris (feathers, classic floral prints, envelope clutches, blunt bangs, ok now I’m stereotyping) and styled by everyone’s favorite, Brad Goreski. Here are my favorites from the collection, and for the record, I’m obsessed with the “Pardon My French” t-shirt.

Katy Perry Eyelashes

I saw these cute lashes the last time I was in Ulta and have regretted not buying them. So next time I’m at Ulta (*cough tomorrow cough*) I’m definitely buying a set. Appropriately named: Sweetie Pie, Oh My! , Oh Honey!, and Cool Kitty. No Ulta? No problem. You can buy them here.

Michelle Williams for Boy. by Band of Outsiders

Well, it would seem its ad season lately on PrettyWellDressed. With a degree in Advertising, I suppose that I have a particular interest in fashion advertising. I always find them to be beautiful, creative and very interesting. But let’s face it, they have to be all of the above in order to grab your attention. Fashions ads show us a product, how gorgeous and luxurious it is, and make us long for the life we’d have if we were to buy the product (or something like that). Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate those 40+ pages of advertising at the front of magazines; I always love a good campaign. And right now, I’m diggin what Band of Outsiders has to offer. Michelle Williams joins the likes of past Band of Outsiders models Kirsten Dunst, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton. The lookbook tells a story so it’s best to check out the beaucoup of images here. Meanwhile, here are my favorites.

Post Jason Wu-shopping

Here is my tale of woe: I went to Target hoping to find one of the items I blogged about the other day. When I got there the selection was poor at best. Not because it was shopped, but the Target just didn’t get very good pieces. They had a few t-shirts and two different dresses, it was pathetic. Needless to say, I’m quite disappointed. I can remember being excited for every featured designer for Target and never really being let down by selection. So, sorry for my whiney post. Maybe I’ll just order this blouse like I said I would, in the first place. Did anyone else have a bad experience? Or a good one? Let me know!

Jason Wu for Target

So in honor of Jason Wu’s February 5th arrival date, I am including my favorites from his collection. I had my heart set on this white blouse with a black ribbon (below), but I’ve just found out that it’s an online exclusive. I’m so discouraged about it because getting my blouse size is so tricky, plus it’s juniors sizes, etc, it’s just not fair. That being said, I must get something from the collection on Sunday. So I’m trying to decide what I’ll purchase. Here are my options, I’d love your suggestions!

Black Ribbon Blouse $34.99 (target.com exclusive)

Blush Long Sleeve Blouse $34.99

Gold Textured Pleated-Front Peplum $32.50

Lana del Rey covers British Vogue

The enchantingly gorgeous songstress Lana del Rey flaunts her doe-eyes and trademark bee-stung pout on the cover of British Vogue. The March issue is colored a pretty pink, mirroring the freshness of Lana’s look and the up-coming spring months.

Michael Pitt Prada Ads S/S ’12

Michael Pitt, the gorgeous star of Boardwalk Empire, poses for Prada’s Spring Summer 2012 mens campaign. His look is so unique, and I think Prada did a really good job in asking Pitt to be the face of the collection. He’s got both celebrity recognition and a model-esque face .
