GAGA on Vogue, Victoria on Glamour, Penelope on W, but so far my favorite cover is Katy Perry for Elle. Sometimes Katy can surprise us and turn on the glam. She wears a gorgeous pink Bottega dress which goes perfectly with her purple-highlighted black hair. Which cover is your favorite so far?
HBO’s latest project is The Girl, a movie that explores the relationship between Alfred Hitchcock and leading lady Tippi Hedren (The Birds). Sienna Miller and Toby Jones take on the lead roles in this exciting venture. HBO plans to release the movie in October, for Halloween perhaps? Regardless I cannot wait. I’ve been fascinated with Hitchcock since I wrote about Grace Kelly for my magazine internship last summer. He was certainly an interesting man and I look forward to seeing Jones’s portrayal of the master of suspense. Sienna’s ability to transform, and of course the fashion, have also caught my eye. Yeah, I’ve been on a Givenchy kick lately, but that’s only because Ricardo Tisci is a genius. I’m obsessed with these boots since I saw Kate Upton wear them in her July Vogue photo shoot. They seem like the perfect fall riding boot.

Is it bad that I’m kind of obsessed with this?
I’m a huge fan of Balmain lately, and I feel like their use of prints in this 2013 resort collection is amazing. The collection works with stripes, floral, leather, and more to create a unified look comprised of stylish mixed media. Vegas and South Beach reportedly inspired the looks, best seen through the silhouettes of the ultra-mini dresses and elongated trousers. The colors serve to balance out the seasons, as a good resort line should. Playing up black as the base color for most of the looks works well amidst the abundance of patterns. The collection displays a great range of outfits from elongated blazers, pencil-sraight trousers, to skin-tight dresses. You can bee sure that high street shops will pick up on the heavy use of diamond and thick vertical stripe patterns so keep an eye out.
Obsessed with Frenzy
I saw this dress the last time I was in Bergdorf Goodman (5th floor). Ever since I laid eyes upon this …piece…. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. At first, I wasn’t sure how I felt about the dress. I thought it to be a bit out there and a little strange. After a few weeks of lingering thoughts I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’m in love with this dress. Sure, for some people it’s too much but I would totally rock this dress. Graphic prints (especially of animals) seem to be a trend lately **see Givenchy RTW** and one would certainly grab some attention wearing this.
And the list goes on and on, trust me, but this product is something I’ve been really intrigued by. It’s Dr.Jart+ BB Balm. As soon as I run out of my primer I’m running to Sephora ASAP to pick up a bottle.
